1. Services
We design, build and launch a functional, mobile-friendly website for your business. After your website is built, we offer a website care plan that includes ongoing updates, security and support. The specific scope of your website will be discussed and confirmed with you before work begins.
2. Fees
The website build is provided free of charge, with no setup fees. The website care plan is $19.95 per month. Billing details and any plan-specific terms will be confirmed with you before your care plan begins. Prices may change in the future; we will notify you before any change affects you.
3. Your content and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information, text, images, logos and other materials you provide (“Your Content”).
- You confirm that you own or have permission to use Your Content, and you grant us permission to use it to build, publish and maintain your website.
- You agree not to use your website for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
- You agree to respond to reasonable requests for information or approvals so we can complete and maintain your website.
4. Hosting and third-party services
Websites are hosted on Netlify. Your website may also rely on other third-party services, such as domain registrars. These services are subject to their own terms and availability, and we are not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party providers.
5. Domain names
We can help you register a new domain name or point a domain you already own to your website. Domain registration is subject to the registrar’s terms and fees.
6. Updates, security and support
While your care plan is active, we will make reasonable efforts to keep your website updated, secure and working. Support requests are handled within a reasonable time. No website can be guaranteed to be free of all errors, interruptions or security threats.
7. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of Your Content. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, code and know-how used to create websites.
8. No guarantee of results
We work to build websites that help your business look professional online, but we do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, leads or sales.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our services and this website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrightSite Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose.
10. Suspension
We may suspend or stop providing services if fees are not paid, or if a website is used in a way that violates these Terms or the law.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
